Bowtie pasta
If you're looking for a simple, easy, super quick dinner then here you go!
It's a close version of a recipe my mother-in-law makes. My kids love it and ask for seconds. I make it the vegetarian way because it makes it quicker but if you'd like to add some chicken it's good too!
1st I put my water on to boil & get the bowtie pasta going
In your pan add
1 cup water
salt & pepper
chicken boulion or tasty trader joes chicken stock
let it start to simmer
then add
4-6 sliced carrots
2-3 zuchinni
2-3 squash
I always add my carrots 1st & let them cook a bit more since they take longer to soften
If you like your sauce a bit thicker you can add a little cornstarch.. i did this time and the kids liked it better.
By the time your patsa is cooked your veggies are just perfect!
We sprinkle a little bit of fresh parmesan on top & there you go! Its also good with garlic bread.. mmmmmmm!
