Ok, I made this and as I was making it I was feeling bad for the family for it's blandness. Um, they ALL wanted seconds!!!! And it's SOO healthy and easy.
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup lentils
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
5 cups chicken broth, regular or low sodium
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/3 lb. ground turkey, browned
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp basil
1/4 tsp pepper
Throw it all in the crock pot for about 3 hours on high, or 4 or 5 on low if you have time..I didn't. Add some salt if needed.
