A new french toast...

You all can tell already that I (Kristal) am addicted to honey lately.  So I tried this awesome recipe...

4 eggs
1 C plain or vanilla yogurt (we used mountain high low fat plain, but greek would be better, plus you'd get your protien for the morning, but we were out)
1/3 C honey (or more, haha)
1/2 t cinnamon

whip it all up, and get your homemade bread (recipe coming soon for that too...probabaly later today)
dunk, cook and bam.  The first picture has a cream cheese jam mixture with berries.  The 2nd picture had cut up bananas with a rum buttermilk syrup (recipe coming).   SO GOOD!  I only got one bite of each (stupid diet), but if I could eat my own, it'd have berries, bananas and MORE HONEY...creamed honey on it!  Enjoy!

Search Amazon.com for organic creamed honey

  2. I found your blog through a friend and it's great! Thanks for all the great ideas! I am NOT a great cook but I'm trying to get better. I'm waiting for the rum buttermilk syrup recipe. It sounds sooo good.
I tried to make bread but it was a disaster. It was so sticky and would not bake. I'll have to try that one again with some modifications.
