the good, the bad and the cute as a button!

These first cookies aren't good, but they are sooo cute!
2cups sifted all - purpose flour, plus more for work surface
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup(1 stick)unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Mix all of that together, then seperate it into 3 or 4 piles and put your food coloring in.  I used cocoa pwd for one, nothing for one, and some red food coloring (bad, I know) for the other.  wrap each pile in plastic wrap and put em in the fridge for about an hour or so....they'll look like this...
Then get one color out at a time, roll it out, and I punched the big circle with my kids ikea cup, and the other not all the way through circle, with their crappy target cups.  Then I used a skewer to do the 4 button holes.  Bake em on 325 for about 15 minutes.

Ok, and THESE cookies DO taste good, and are soo easy......
Cake Mix Cookies (sorry I'm not keepin it healthy right now, it happens)
1 (18.25 oz.) box cake mix
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 cup of chocolate chips....plus a few extras

Just mix all of that together so it looks like this...
It's kinda yellowy compared to regular chocolate chip cookie batter...bake em for about 8 minutes on 325.  Mmmm, soo good!
