Cake Balls!

Everyone wants some delicious balls around the holidays! And here are the best!
Ingredients:
A Cake Mix...any kid...chocolate kinds are the best
A tub of frosting....any kind...chocolate kinds are the best (ha!)
Dipping chocolate...Sam's has the Ghirdelli box of dipping chocolate this time of year...stock up!
Sprinkles, or oreo cookie crumbs, or white dipping chocolate...optional, but soo cute!

Bake your cake as box instructs
Let it cool
Crumble it up into a bowl
Add the frosting, mash it all up completely...it'll be pretty moist. I do this step with my hands, and I end up having to lick my hands clean (then with soap and water, dont' worry)
Form it into little balls. you can make them any size....but about 1" round looks like delicious little truffles in the end.
Put them on wax paper and put them in the freezer for a good hour or so.

Chop up dipping chocolate and melt. If, heaven forbid you have to use a microwave...do half power for 30 seconds, stir, then another 30 seconds...etc...until melted. Otherwise, melt it on your double boiler.

Get balls out of freezer and dip away. Again, put them on wax paper to dry. If you want to use sprinkles, put them on right after you dip. If you want to do the pretty white chocolate garnish, wait for the dipping chocolate to dry, then melt the white chocolate the same way you did the dipping chocolate and then put it in a small ziploc bag, snip just barely the tip and it'll go on the balls just lovely!
Let them dry, then....
EAT BALLS ALL SEASON LONG!!!!!
