Austrian Pancakes

Ok, so this picture does NOT do them justice. I should have taken a CUT picture, because, they're just amazing. If you like German pancakes, you'll LOVE Austrian!Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons margarine

Alright, just make em the same as German pancakes. Mix everything EXCEPT the butter together. Melt the butter in a cast iron skillet (or a 9x13 casserole dish) and pour the batter over that. Bake it at 325 for 30-35 minutes. It'll get puffy. Serve with fresh fruit, frozen berries, whipped topping or best of all, a gallon of buttermilk syrup. If you don't have the recipe for that already, you're crazy!...(ask us).
